I am posting now to ask you guys a question about something, but first the story around it.
My younger sister used to be really into occult and witchcraft (she was 13-14 years old at the time, though). She didn't know much about it and didn't really get deep into it, as far as dressing or talking the part and all, but she did have a book of spells that she tried. She used to burn incense in her room a lot. We didn't think much of it at the time, because I to this day have very close Pagan and Wiccan friends (one is a Druid), and while I myself am a Christian, I very highly respect the beliefs of my friends and the devotion they give to their beliefs. Anyway. As I said, my sister didn't know much about what she was doing and she was mostly curious; it seemed to be a phase. But, and I wanted to pass this off as a fib when she told me about it, she told me one night while the whole family was asleep that she and her friends (who were sleeping over for the night) had messed around with her book of spells and tried to summon something.
What she told me about what happened next scared me ***tless. I have never been a skeptic but I did not put much stock into what she boasted about all the time when it came to these spells and all because she was so young and naive and it was more a curious interest than a real belief, but when she gave me a detailed description of what she and her friends had summoned, I quickly reasoned that something with the qualities she described couldn't just be "made up."
I don't remember it all because I was only 16-17 at the time myself and it was some number of years ago. But here is what I do remember from her description: A tall, gangly and dessicated womanly figure with blue-orange fire for hair and a blue halo around this "hair"; no eyes in the sockets, top lip curled up from decay to show the teeth, and a glowing, flowing, tattered grey-ish robe with a strange symbol across the breast. She didn't say it was a pentagram (truthly I'm not even sure she knew what one was or would have known one if she saw it). I don't believe it was because to my knowledge based on what my Druid friend has told me, a Pentagram, or pentacle, is not an evil symbol at all. But she couldn't describe what the symbol was. She said it came out of her closet and there was a fiery background behind the figure, and that it pointed at them and then vanished. I know, I know, it sounds like something straight out of a bad budget horror film or a Uwe Boll film. But that's what I can remember from what she told me. She never told our parents and neither did I. They probably would have shrugged it off anyway.
Right now they still live in the same house but my sister has since moved out and gone to college at North Texas where she lives in a Sorority house. My parents haven't experienced anything strange (at least not that they've said anything about, they are pretty big skeptics I am sure). Nor has my sister said anything about paranormal activity.
My questions are: what do you guys make of this description of the "figure" (I'm really interested to hear what MysticMerlyn has to say), why hasn't my family encountered any paranormal activity in lieu of this summoning (I understand that you don't just summon some evil spirit, and it comes to you, does a dance and leaves you alone), and do you think this might have been an overactive imagination on my sister's part? She never had much of an imagination to begin with and to be honest she's a pretty level headed and logical woman so I have trouble believing that she could have made that description up.
So, what do you guys think? I'm open to anything, or you can email me at ryan.christian1@us.army.mil or burn.the.earth@gmail.com
