Hmm.. he is 12 and has been happening since the age of 8 right..

Ok.. before we go into the paranormal aspect, or possible psychic
aspect, please make sure that you do have your child tested for
his hearing.. It may be that he has unusually good hearing or his
hearing may be impaired..

Next, I know that making sure all medical aspects are ok
first like he is not having seicures which cause him to hallucinate
the voices or that his perception is not clouded for some other
reason which he he is hiding.. Kids at all ages do hid many
factors about thier personal life. I know I did from my parents
some to this day as an adult..

Mood changes may be from testerone changes and estrogen
changes in males.. Major mood changes such as manic or
depressive or as it is revered to by today's termonolgy the
child may be bipolar? But I hate to use this term or even
look into this reason unless it has been weldocumented over
time.. It seems that today's doctors are using the term
BIPOLAR for youngster where they never did in the past..
It seems that they go right to a medical pill and than
treatment.. Hopefully this will not get that far but just
be aware of this aspect.. It seems almost an epidemic
propotions lately the new outbreak of children being
diagnosed as BIPOLAR..

Now the other responses..

Boys tend to be going into puberty at about 8-13 years old.
The statistics on this may have chaneged but I am thinking
that puberty hits around the 12-13 but some earlier and some
later..

This is a possible explanation and that he is just more intuined
and emotional too..

Is your son under the sun sign of Water element.. Picses, Cancer and or Scorpio?

I am sensing he is a cancer child and maybe even his moon is in
cancer too.

What he describes is how I was raised on some levels.. I
did at times hear stuff, but I did all the time feel like someone
was watching me..

Next..

he said that he hears whispers, not anything evil or telling him to kill his parents or anything,
just more like ...emotions? I want to say.. he says (and he has said this since he was around
8 yrs. old), that he was psychic, and he could tell what was about to happen. I never really
believed him due to the fact he is around me and I love paranormal stuff, figured he just picked it up.

It sounds like he is empathic.. "emotions"... He said he was psychic ?
What does he mean by this terminalogy.. Get to the heart of his issues!!!
If he hears spirit whispers he may be ..

But than he says he is psychic??

What are his reasons for using this term and what
examples does he use to follow his understanding or
voice?

Look for specific examples not general source stuff like
he knows or senses that a call will be from a source and
it happened.. Like a call from a relative out of the blue..

I used this example.. for me, my mom knew I was
special for I was always talking of my dreams in
detail, and than the dream happened in real life..
another example I use was that I used to tell my
mom things about who was about to call and
or what the lottery numbers where and than
see the numbers appear.. I did to my mom too..LMAO..

Look for possible normal explanations before saying it
is all paranormal.

What you want to do is to listen to him and let him
explain his personal thinking in how he came to believe
he is psychic? It may be something happening at school
where he may have said something to another classmate
and others started teasing him about his believe or understanding..

Next..

He told me he was tired of the feelings of "not being alone"..he says like
someone is always w/ him. He wants it to stop. He tells me that the reson
he hates sleeping in his room is due to the feeling of someone w/ him all the time.
What I want to know is, what could this be? sensitive, or psychic?

First, this feeling he has is is with him always? as he mentiones? So
it should not matter where he sleeps for it would still be with him?
Right.. I mean I am following his train of thought here..

At this point looking at the situation and the aspect of medical or
brain chemistry is not affected but his emotions are than he may
want to share whom it is that is with him? He should know or sense
the being.. Gender male or female?? Just a starting point to ask ok..

Not that he is sensing this or not?? First question why he feels this
way what has upset him this much that he is in state of fear and
mistrust? Could something have happened to him and he does
not want to say anything???

Next after trying to rationalize what is happening with him, you may
want as others mention to let him know that you believe him
and that you want to help him but you want him to understand
what is happening if he can or if it is possible..

Next.. Let see what one can also do to help you along this
line of questions.. I like the aspect of possible setting
some guildelines for the spiritual forms not being allowed
to present in his bedroom..

Some simple things you can do to help him sleep is
to get a dreamcatcher and place it in his bedroom over
the window.. Other aspects is to bless his bedroom
with you there and him there to make him feel secure.

Dreamcatchers are a great way to catch the bad
dreams and or bad energies that do arrive to some..
I have a dream catcher on two windows in the bedroom
I sleep in.. I have other items too that I do too.. but that
is another thread..

Get or make with him a ghost away spray can mister..
One can make this spray by using the following instuctions,
get some crushed bay leaves, water, peppermint or lavender
oil, sea salt or salt placed in a spray bottle.. The spray bottle
will contain water or holy water which can be bleesed
from a church or can be blessed by a lay person.. Someone
has to pray over the water.. add the other incredients and
maybe some food coloring too.. red, blue, yellow etc..

Does he say night time prayes? This helps too... It makes
one feel safe to know that other astral forms are caring
for them when they sleep..

Be creative and understanding too.. allow him to vent his
feelings out to you..

When you spray that ghosts away.. make sure that you
show him you believe in him and use that same spray
in the rest of the home when you cleanse of bless your
home..

The items I indicated in that spray bottle are all
scents that are used for protection too.. The bay
leaves on window cill is still something I use at my
home but I may make a small stash or twine them
together in a baggie or some container.. The scents
of peppermint, lavender and or some citrus like
lemon, tangerine and grapefruit are said to be
also good deterents..

(( SIDE NOTE)) the citrus scented oils are good to
use if trying to make a cat not go in a place it goes..
It does work but it has to be done when young..

I believe your son may be more sensitive than psychic
unless you can show why he believes he is this way..
