     I saw you posted on the grounding and shielding thread recently sensitivechic, that should definitely help ease the nervous feeling you have been having. When a spirit wether its malevolent or benevolent of high energy is around it can cause sensitives who do not have themselves firmly grounded and shielded it can cause a symptom called the "panic room" effect this can also be set off by large electronical fallout if a home has bad wiring and such. Reading up on these should definitely help a lot, I recomend the book Practical Techniques of Psychic Self Defense by Murry Hope its not incredibly extensive and gives a beginning sensitive the basics of shielding and the chakras as well as how to deal with thought forms and other such things that may take an offensive approach towards you.

     I don't think this spirit youre talking about is malevolent in any sense but rather frusterated as he knows he is making contact by everyones reactions but he is not getting any kind of feedback so he is becoming upset over the fact that he is not getting help from anyone when he is so desperately trying to do so. I think once youve got a good grasp on shielding and grounding you should do as Wizard said and take the intiative to make contact. I have the feeling that once talked to he will be more than willing to accept help to pass over.

     Also like Krysteen said learning to shield can greatly help with your empathic abilities to. My emotions used to be up and down when I was younger because I was greatly affected by any emotional story real or fake as well, which when you are the kid that everybody feels they can talk to and be 100% honest with it can be downright maddening to deal with. In my case it was becoming so severe that part of my mind basically blocked itself off until I became older and began to take control of my abilities on my own. Now through daily shielding of my home and myself I am able to keep other emotions blocked out unless I choose to. The only time I allow my empathic abilities to be unrestrained is when I am on a paranormal investigation as it makes it much easier for me to make contact with any spirits, however if doing so it's best to do so with those who are close to you and understand your abilities. I use to give guided tours of haunted locations to the public and the man who ran them did not have a firm grasp on what the paranormal was and he saw it as a way to make profit. In several places we used to tour I had to pour out excess energy to keep unpleasant spirits away from the tour goers and it would result in me having huge anger outbursts off in private or to break down sobbing in front of my tour group either way did not make for pleasant conversations on several occasions. I've had people tell me anything from "I'm a really good actor "to "hello my name is such and such and I am a priest, and I feel it would benefit you if you would start attending my church and that you may be possessed". People see and experience the paranormal in whatever way they can cope with it for sensitives such as yourself and many of us on these forums we get the unedited raw material that would drive most people insane. With practice though I am confident that you will be able to become more in control of your gifts and in such it will open a great oppurtunity for you. Start with the grounding and shielding first which the other forums thread details, meditation may be a good way to start off learning these. After that things will develop on their own as you continue to strengthen yourself through practice.
